A working meeting of specialists from the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Georgia was held in Baku, dedicated to cybersecurity and information protection issues. The negotiations took place at the General Staff of the Azerbaijani army and were aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the digital sphere.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation in the field of cyber defense, as well as the exchange of experience between relevant structures. Special attention was paid to increasing the resilience of information systems and countering modern cyber threats.

The meeting participants noted the importance of regular contacts between the agencies to enhance the level of security and coordinate actions. In addition to cybersecurity, other areas of mutual interest for the military structures of the two countries were also touched upon.
