Georgia recorded an increase in foreign trade with Russia: in January–April 2026, trade turnover increased by more than 12% and reached approximately $965.7 million.
Georgia's exports to Russia amounted to about $200 million, while imports of Russian goods and resources were around $766 million. Thus, Russia ranked second among the country's largest trade partners.
Turkey remains the leader in foreign trade volume with over $1 billion, followed by China in third place with a volume of about $933 million. The data reflects the strengthening of regional trade activity in early 2026.
