Azerbaijan Railways announced the resumption of regular passenger services on the Baku-Tbilisi route. The train will depart from Baku at 23:10 and arrive in Tbilisi at 08:41 the next day, while the return journey will start at 21:00, arriving at 06:24.
The full route ticket price is 81 manats one way, with shorter travel options available from 51 manats. Along the way, the train will stop at key stations in both countries, including Gardabani, Ganja, Yevlakh, and Agstafa, as well as other major hubs.
Services will commence on May 26 and will be operated by Stadler-manufactured trains. Approximately one hour is allocated for border procedures at each point, which should ensure a more stable and predictable schedule between the two capitals.
