Energo-Pro Georgia Power Grids Failed

Energo-Pro Georgia is operating in emergency mode and deploying additional teams

Heavy snowfall and icing have led to serious disruptions in the operation of power grids in Western Georgia. According to Energo-Pro Georgia, the bad weather damaged power supply facilities, causing power outages in several areas.

According to the company, the most difficult situation has developed in rural settlements in the Imereti and Samegrelo regions. Damage has been recorded on both high-voltage and low-voltage lines. Energo-Pro Georgia emergency teams have been working in an enhanced mode for the second day, trying to restore a stable power supply in the face of continuing bad weather.

To speed up restoration work, additional technical teams from other regions of the country have been sent to the affected areas. They are helping local energy workers to eliminate the consequences of the disaster. The company emphasizes that repair work will continue until full power supply is restored to all consumers.
