Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan arrived in Tbilisi on an official visit and met with Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili. The parties discussed in detail the development of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, both at the regional level and in a bilateral format. Special attention was paid to issues related to the sustainability of logistics chains and the possibilities of expanding infrastructure links between the countries.
The negotiations also covered several areas of the economic agenda, including the dynamics of current projects and possible new initiatives. The press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy emphasized that the meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and allowed to clarify the positions of the parties on a number of practical issues.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, Arman Khojoyan, who oversees part of the international directions of the department and participated in the discussion of technical details.
