Turkmen Delegation Studies Ports and Logistics of Georgia

Special attention was paid to the construction of the deep-sea port of Anaklia

The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development conducted a tour of Georgian seaports and logistics facilities for the Turkmen delegation. The guests familiarized themselves with the work of APM Terminals Poti, and also visited the new port of Poti, managed by Pace Group.

Special attention was paid to the construction of the deep-sea port of Anaklia, where dredging works are carried out by the Belgian company Jan De Nul. Tamar Ioseliani spoke in detail about the project and plans for its further development.

The Turkmen side showed interest in expanding the warehouse and logistics infrastructure near the Georgian ports and is considering the possibility of investing in this area, which could strengthen transport links and economic cooperation between the countries.
