Georgia plans to prohibit construction within 200 meters of roads of international importance without special approval from the authorities. The draft resolution has already been prepared by the government, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure.

The new rules are based on amendments to the law "On Automobile Roads" and are aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the transport system, improving safety and compliance with international standards. The agency emphasizes that the restrictions should prevent chaotic development that could interfere with current and future infrastructure projects.
