The winter season in Bakuriani has started with a premiere - the resort's first panoramic funicular has started operating, allowing you to enjoy mountain views during the ascent. Now visitors can appreciate the beauty of the resort from a height and get new impressions from their holidays.
According to the Mountain Trails Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, all three ski areas - Didveli, Kokhta and Mitarbi, including cable cars, are fully functional. The infrastructure has been checked, the equipment has been prepared for operation, and the staff has received the necessary training to ensure the safety of holidaymakers.
The opening of the funicular and the readiness of all the resort's facilities promise to make the 2026 winter season in Bakuriani especially comfortable and attractive for tourists from all over the world.
