According to statistics for 2025, Mercedes-Benz remains the most popular car brand in Georgia, with 227,635 vehicles of this brand registered. Toyota follows with 213,978 cars, and Ford is represented by 187,576 vehicles. The top ten most common brands also include VAZ, Opel, BMW, Volkswagen, Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi.
On average, about 16,800 cars are registered in the country every month. Some of them are subsequently sent for re-export, but the very fact of registration means that the vehicle has been in Georgia for at least two months — after the expiration of domestic transit license plates.
