Socar Energy Georgia Became the Main Investor in Georgia

Azerbaijani Company Tops the Ranking

Socar Energy Georgia, part of the Azerbaijani Socar structure, took first place among all companies that provided the largest inflow of foreign direct investment into Georgia in the third quarter of 2025. According to the National Statistics Office, this company was the key driver of investment in the country's economy.

Selfie Mobile followed, and IDEA Borjomi Georgia and its division IDEA Borjomi Beverages Company Georgia Branch took third place. The top ten investors also included Magticom, TAV Urban Georgia, Poti Sea Port Corporation, Geosteel, Lomisi, Georgia Cement and Mina — the list covers telecom, logistics, metallurgy and the FMCG segment.

The main donor countries for investment in the third quarter were the USA with $93.5 million, Spain with $72.1 million and Turkey, which invested $70 million. These markets provided the main flow of capital, which remains critical to the stability and growth of the Georgian economy.
