A series of open lectures on artificial intelligence is starting in Georgia, organized by TBC Bank and the GAIA Artificial Intelligence Association in collaboration with the country's universities.
TBC continues to develop educational initiatives that help young professionals and students navigate technological changes and apply knowledge in practice. The company notes that it is such projects that strengthen the technological ecosystem of Georgia and stimulate the dissemination of knowledge focused on development.
Together with GAIA and Georgian universities, TBC is launching a new project — a series of public lectures "AI and ...". Its goal is to stimulate discussion about the integration of artificial intelligence into various fields and raise awareness in the academic environment. Each university participating in the program complements the "..." topic with a direction in which it has strong faculties and scientific personnel.
The first lecture — "AI and Medicine" at Ilia State University
The first event will be held on November 27 at 19:00. The topic of the meeting is "AI and Medicine: Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostics".
The speakers will be radiologist, Professor Mikheil Okudzhava and co-founder of AI-startup Biterium Ketevan Bosikashvili. They will talk about how artificial intelligence is changing medical diagnostics, what challenges and limitations exist in the development of technologies, and how ready patients and doctors are for innovations.
The organizers note that the meeting will be especially useful for students of medical faculties, practicing doctors, healthcare managers and anyone interested in the use of AI in medicine.
