The President of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava, met with representatives of Visa, during which the parties discussed the development of payment infrastructure, the protection of bank customers' rights, and the improvement of financial literacy among the population. One of the topics of the meeting was joint work on creating a platform for comparing bank fees and interest rates.

The meeting participants also discussed the preparation for the Tbilisi Financial Summit, which will take place on October 27–28. Visa will once again act as a partner and sponsor of the event. The company has been operating in the Georgian market for over 25 years and participates in the development of the country's payment system. According to the National Bank, by June 2026, there were more than 1.9 million active Visa cards in Georgia.
