The first business lounge, created with the support of VISA, has opened at David Agmashenebeli International Airport in Kutaisi. The new lounge is part of a program to develop passenger service infrastructure and improve the level of service at one of Georgia's key airports.
The project was implemented with the participation of the United Airports of Georgia and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of government agencies, airport management, as well as regional representatives of VISA and partner financial organizations. The business lounge is located in the departure area and occupies 270 sq. m, designed to serve up to 70 passengers simultaneously.
Inside, there are recreation, work, dining areas, and a separate children's zone. Investments in the project exceeded 1 million GEL. Access to the lounge is free for holders of premium VISA cards, and for the next five years, the space will operate under the brand's corporate concept with operational management by the United Airports of Georgia.
