Internet in Georgia Accelerates: 18.8 GB per Subscriber and Operator Revenue Growth

Users are increasingly consuming traffic, and the market shows stable expansion

According to the Communications Commission, in January–February 2026, over 4.26 million subscribers used mobile internet in Georgia – this is about 72.8% of all active SIM cards. The total traffic volume reached 80,160 TB per month, and average consumption grew to 18.8 GB per user, which is 26% more than a year earlier.

Among operators, Magti leads with the highest average consumption – 25.9 GB per subscriber and a total traffic of 38,577 TB. Silknet and Cellfie Mobile have lower figures but also show growth in both traffic and consumption per user.

The financial performance of the industry is also growing: all operators have increased revenue and ARPU. Magti maintains market leadership with a 41.4% share, Silknet follows with 35.7%, and Cellfie Mobile holds 22.6%, while showing the fastest revenue growth. The market is gradually shifting towards more active data consumption and increased monetization of mobile internet.
