In the first five months of 2026, Georgia recorded a significant increase in imports of unmanned aerial vehicles. The volume of supplies amounted to about 2.1 tons worth 886 thousand dollars, which is 39.5% more compared to the same period last year.
Despite the relatively small market scale, the growth dynamics remain stable. The main supplier of drones was the United Arab Emirates, providing more than half of all imports – about 556 thousand dollars.
Next on the list of suppliers are Latvia, China, the USA, Vietnam, Hungary, and Norway. China and the USA maintain a presence, but in smaller volumes compared to the market leader.
The supply structure shows a diversification of equipment sources: from Middle Eastern manufacturers to European and Asian companies. In total, in 2025, Georgia imported about 5 tons of drones, which is slightly higher than in 2024.
