Black Sea Petroleum announced a major change in its raw material strategy: starting in autumn 2026, the company plans to fully switch to processing oil of non-Russian origin.
The company summarized its first-half results, reporting that it processed over 650 thousand tons of raw materials during this period, continuing to increase production volumes at the country's first full-scale oil refinery.
One of the key development areas has been the expansion of cooperation with Honeywell. The partnership includes equipment supply, engineering support, and the implementation of automated production control systems, which should increase the plant's efficiency.
The company also announced an expansion of its product line. In the first quarter of 2027, it plans to launch the production of road bitumen for the domestic market and export, and in the second quarter, to begin producing aviation fuel, which will mark an entry into a more marginal segment.
