Large-scale Tbilisi Airport Expansion Project Presented

It was shown to the French Ambassador

Olivier Courtaux, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Georgia, visited Tbilisi International Airport, where he met with Tea Zakharadze, General Manager of TAV Georgia. The parties discussed the current situation in the aviation market and the impact of events in the Middle East on the industry.

The Ambassador familiarized himself with the company's current and planned investment projects. TAV Georgia has been managing Tbilisi and Batumi airports for over 20 years and is a subsidiary of the French Groupe ADP. This year, an agreement was signed with the Georgian government for a project worth over $150 million aimed at expanding Tbilisi Airport.

At the end of the visit, Olivier Courtaux inspected the progress of construction work within the framework of a large-scale investment project, which is expected to increase the airport's capacity and improve its infrastructure.
