Air Astana is significantly increasing its presence in the Georgian direction: the number of flights will increase from 6 to 24 per week. This is effectively a fourfold increase, which will take effect in the summer schedule of 2026 and will affect key routes between Kazakhstan and Georgia.

According to the company, during the peak season, the number of flights gradually increases to 22 per week, and this year two more flights will be added. As a result, the total offering will reach 24 weekly departures. The airline attributes the expansion to growing passenger demand and increased tourist traffic.

Additionally, Air Astana is connecting the low-cost carrier FlyArystan, which should make flights more accessible. As part of the code-sharing agreement, new routes Almaty–Kutaisi and Astana–Kutaisi will appear, where FlyArystan will operate flights, and Air Astana will act as the carrier, expanding the geography of flights in the region.
