In January–February 2026, yachts and other floating crafts for recreation and sports worth 361,900 US dollars were imported into Georgia, which is slightly higher than the figure for the same period in 2025 (324,400 dollars). In general, in 2025, imports of these goods amounted to 4.1 million dollars, down compared to 2024 (4.7 million dollars). The main supplier is the USA (2.1 million dollars), also significant volumes came from Mexico, Turkey, the UAE and China.
As for exports, in the first two months of 2026, yachts worth 69,600 US dollars were sent from Georgia, compared to 53,000 dollars a year earlier. All products were exported to Central Asian countries — Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In 2025, total yacht exports reached 1 million dollars, an increase compared to 2024 (926,300 dollars).
The top 5 export destinations included Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. These data show that although imports remain the main driving force of the market, local production and supplies abroad are gradually gaining weight, expanding Georgia's presence in the segment of yachts and floating crafts.
