Passenger traffic exceeded 8.5 million people

In 2025, Georgian airports served approximately 8.5 million passengers, which is 14.1% more compared to 2024. This data was published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia, Geostat. The number of arriving passengers was approximately 4.2 million, while the number of departing passengers was about 4.3 million.

The majority of passenger traffic was accounted for by regular flights, with their share reaching 95.2%. Over the year, 33.6 thousand passenger flights were operated at Georgian airports, which is 11.1% more than the previous year.

Cargo transportation also increased significantly. In 2025, approximately 3.9 thousand cargo flights were operated, which is 77.1% more than in 2024. The total volume of processed cargo and mail amounted to approximately 39 thousand tons. 📈✈️
