In Batumi, Ambassador Batumi is setting up a concrete plant on the territory of the former oil refinery. Initially, the production was planned on an artificial island, but the plans were changed, and the infrastructure was moved to the "BNZ" industrial zone. The company leases about 34 hectares, but will use only part of the area for production needs.
The plant is necessary for the construction of the artificial island and is already equipped with an MB-K145 installation with a capacity of up to 140 m³ per hour. The technological process is fully automated: cement, crushed stone, sand, chemical additives and water are mixed, and the process is controlled from the control cabin. Before placing the infrastructure, the territory was cleared and prepared with inert material, and the company applied for screening to the National Environmental Agency to determine the need for an EIA.
Inert materials will come from the Khala and Kvirike quarries to the crushing and sorting complex. On average, about 50 transport operations per day are expected, while transportation is planned outside peak hours, and alternative routes are provided. The distance to the artificial island site is only a few hundred meters, which provides convenient logistics for construction.
