Georgia's Largest Ferroalloy Producer Georgian Manganese Fined

For Systematic Failure to Submit Reports

Georgia's largest ferroalloy producer, Georgian Manganese, has been fined 10,000 lari for the late submission of its audited financial statements for 2024 to the Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision Service. The report was supposed to be submitted by October 2025.r

The company systematically violates the requirement to publish reports annually: financial data for 2017–2023 have still not been disclosed, which leads to fines being imposed every year. It should be noted that the country's ferroalloy industry is going through a difficult period — product exports in 2025 amounted to $226 million versus $322 million in 2024, whereas in 2021–2022 the volume exceeded $450 million.

According to registry data, "Georgian Manganese" has pledged real estate as collateral for loans from Cartu Bank and Liberty Bank, and also has debts to electricity suppliers. The collateral includes a mineral extraction license. The sale of the company's assets is restricted by court decisions.
