Georgia is preparing to launch a unique plant for the production of nanotechnologies for fire fighting. The company belongs to Nano Fire Protection Technology from the UAE and will become one of the few such productions in the world. The products manufactured in the country will be focused on both the domestic market and export, including to the countries of the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
According to the founder of the Georgian division of NFPT, Georgy Chanturia, the plant will produce a wide range of solutions for protection against fires. Among them are special stickers to prevent fires inside sockets, switches and junction boxes, fire-resistant cables for electrical panels and rooms, as well as protective paints for various surfaces. A compact fire extinguisher weighing about 600 g, filled with microcapsules and capable of extinguishing the flame in a matter of seconds after being thrown into the source of ignition, deserves special attention.
Production in Georgia is scheduled to begin in January 2026. There are already only two such plants operating in the world - the main one in Dubai and an enterprise in Prague, opened a few months ago. At the same time, contracts for the supply of products from the Georgian plant have already been signed with Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, which makes the project one of the most technological export launches in the region in the field of industrial safety.
