Georgia has entered the top ten countries in the world in terms of state reserves of bitcoins. According to data as of November 18, 2025, the country's balance sheet contains 66 BTC with a total value of about $6.1 million. In total, 10 holding states control 518,500 BTC worth $47.7 billion, which corresponds to approximately 2.5% of the total volume of bitcoins in circulation.
The absolute leader in cryptocurrency reserves remains the United States - 198,012 BTC worth $18.2 billion. China ranks second with 194,000 BTC, followed by Great Britain, which has accumulated 61,245 BTC. The top five also includes Ukraine with 46,351 BTC and Bhutan, which has 11,286 BTC in its accounts.
In addition to Georgia, the list of countries with state reserves of bitcoins includes El Salvador with 7475 BTC, as well as Finland, which owns 90 BTC. Georgia's presence in this ranking underscores the growing role of cryptocurrencies in the financial policies of individual states and increases interest in digital assets in the South Caucasus region.
