In October, Georgian power lines were loaded at a record level: total transit reached 200 million kWh.
The main flow came from Russian electricity — Turkey received 126.17 million kWh, while supplies from Azerbaijan amounted to 74.2 million kWh. Data from the State Electricity System indicates a noticeable shift in the structure of export routes.
In the first 10 months of 2025, 827.4 million kWh of electricity passed through Georgia. Despite the October surge from Russia, Azerbaijan remains the key user of Georgian lines, having sent 594.15 million kWh to Turkey. Russia provided 202.66 million kWh of transit, and Armenia only 30.6 million kWh.
