According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, 93.5% of the country's households have access to the internet — 1.5 percentage points more than a year earlier. In cities, the indicator reaches 96.8%, while in rural areas it is 89%. Tbilisi leads with 98.2% coverage, followed by Adjara — 96.3% and Kvemo Kartli — 93.8%. The lowest indicator was recorded in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti — 86.2%.

89.6% of Georgian residents aged 6 and over used the internet in the last three months. In cities, the share is 92.9%, in rural areas — 83.9%. Almost full coverage is observed among young people aged 15–29 — 99.6% of this group use the internet. Among children aged 6–14, the indicator is 96.9%, among people aged 30–59 — 97.6%, and among residents over 60 — 70.8%.

At the same time, the internet has become an almost daily tool for most users. Among users aged 15 and over, 96.4% go online daily or almost daily. Another 3.4% use the internet at least once a week, and only 0.2% do so less often. The gap between urban and rural areas still remains, but the overall level of internet access in Georgia is already approaching 100%.
