The turnover of Georgia's business sector in 2025 reached a record 253.7 billion lari, an increase of 11.1% compared to 2024, when the figure was 228.5 billion lari. Over ten years, the scale of business in the country has grown almost fourfold: in 2015, the private sector's turnover was 57 billion lari. Simultaneously, output last year increased by 10.3%, to 99.9 billion lari, compared to 90.5 billion lari a year earlier.

The largest share of turnover is traditionally generated by entertainment and trade. The arts, entertainment, and recreation sector accounts for 35.5%, with a significant portion within this area being the gambling business. Another 33.6% is provided by wholesale and retail trade, as well as the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles. This is followed by manufacturing with a share of 7.7%, construction — 6.1%, transport and warehousing — 4.6%.

Thus, almost 70% of the total turnover of the Georgian business sector is formed by two areas — entertainment and trade. At the same time, the structure by company size shows different roles for enterprises: large businesses hold leading positions in turnover, while small and medium-sized companies make a significant contribution to the total output.
