In the first seven months of 2026, Georgia imported goods worth $210.2 million from Armenia, which is 77.4% more than a year earlier. Armenia ranked ninth among the largest suppliers of Georgian imports.
The main reason for the growth was copper ores and concentrates: their supplies increased almost fourfold – from $32.3 million to $122.3 million. Imports of cars, ores and concentrates of precious metals, chocolate, and other prepared food products also increased.
Meanwhile, the total trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia for January–July reached $591.3 million. Armenia became Georgia's seventh largest trading partner. Georgia's exports to Armenia amounted to $381.1 million, an increase of 31.2% over the year.
