In January–July 2026, Georgia's goods exports reached $4.67 billion, an increase of 21.6% compared to the same period last year. These figures are provided by the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
At the same time, the so-called domestic export — supplies of goods of Georgian origin, excluding re-exports — grew particularly rapidly. Over the year, it increased by 64.1% to $2.85 billion, accounting for 61.1% of total exports.
The largest buyer of Georgian goods was China, which accounted for $480.2 million of domestic exports. Russia took second place with $409.7 million, and Turkey third with $279.4 million. In total, the top ten countries accounted for 66.2% of Georgia's domestic exports.
The main commodity category was oil and petroleum products — $543.2 million, or 19% of all domestic exports. This was followed by ores and concentrates of precious metals with $356.3 million and ferroalloys — $187.1 million.
Thus, the growth of Georgian exports in 2026 is ensured not only by re-exports but also by a significant increase in the export of goods of direct Georgian origin.
