Georgia's foreign trade turnover in goods for January–July 2026 reached $15.517 billion, which is 7.5% more than in the same period last year. The growth was driven by both an increase in exports and an expansion of import supplies.

The volume of exports for the seven months amounted to $4.668 billion, an increase of 21.6%. Imports grew at a more moderate pace – by 2.4%, to $10.849 billion. As a result, the negative foreign trade balance reached $6.18 billion, which corresponds to 39.8% of the total trade turnover.

In July alone, Georgian exports grew by 29.7% year-on-year and amounted to $792 million. Imports for the same month increased by 5.8%, reaching $1.703 billion.
