Georgians started using the internet more actively: mobile traffic grew by 22%

The average user already consumes 20.6 GB per month, while operators simultaneously increase revenue and income per subscriber.

Mobile internet consumption in Georgia has significantly increased over the year. According to the Communications Commission, in May 2026, the average subscriber used 20.6 GB of traffic per month – 3.7 GB, or 22%, more than a year earlier.

Almost 4.6 million people, or 77.3% of all subscribers, use mobile internet. Magti remains the leader in traffic volume: 26.1 GB per user per month. Silknet's figure is 18.5 GB, and Cellfie's is 15.7 GB. However, Cellfie showed the maximum annual growth in consumption – by 46%.

Operators' business is also growing. From January to May, their total revenue reached 393 million GEL, an increase of 9% year-on-year.

Magti earned 185.3 million GEL, Silknet – 135.4 million, Cellfie – 71.6 million. All three operators also increased ARPU. Cellfie showed the most significant dynamics: the average monthly revenue per subscriber increased by 1.07 GEL, to 11.61 GEL.
