Durov drew attention to the economic changes in the country, stating that thanks to business support policies, Georgia's economy has doubled in the last five years, with current growth rates of about 8% per year. He specifically highlighted the conditions for international technology companies.
According to the Telegram founder, foreign IT companies in Georgia can benefit from favorable tax conditions — in particular, a zero corporate tax rate and low taxes on dividends and salaries. Durov stated that he plans to visit the country again in the near future.
