In January–June 2026, Georgia significantly increased the volume of external supplies. According to the National Statistics Office of the country, goods exports reached $3.876 billion, which is 20% higher than the figure for the same period last year.

At the same time, Georgia's own exports, excluding re-exports, showed an even more significant increase. In the first six months of the year, it amounted to $2.392 billion, an increase of 62.6% year-on-year. Local goods accounted for 61.7% of the total export volume.

The main buyers of Georgian products were China, Russia, and Turkey. The ten largest trading partners accounted for 65.8% of local exports. China purchased goods worth $417 million, Russia – $308.4 million, Turkey – $243.7 million.

The main export category was oil and petroleum products. In the first half of the year, their foreign supplies reached $466.9 million, which accounts for 19.5% of the total volume of local exports.

The second place was taken by ores and concentrates of precious metals – $304.3 million or 12.7% of exports. Ferrous alloys took the third position with a supply volume of $147.5 million (6.2%).

The growth in exports demonstrates Georgia's strengthening position in international markets and the expansion of trade ties with the largest economies in the region and the world.
