Kazakhstani low-cost airline FlyArystan has launched a new international route between Atyrau and Batumi. The first flight on the Atyrau – Batumi – Atyrau route took place on July 14, 2026.

Flights will operate once a week – on Tuesdays. The route will be active throughout the summer season, until August 25.

Permission for flights was issued by the Civil Aviation Agency of Kazakhstan. The new route made Atyrau the fourth city in the country from which one can directly travel to Batumi this summer. Previously, direct flights to the Georgian city were already operated from Almaty, Astana, and Aktau.

Air communication between Kazakhstan and Georgia continues to actively develop. Currently, flights between the two countries are operated by Air Astana, FlyArystan, and SCAT Airlines. During the summer period, the total number of weekly flights between Kazakhstan and Georgia will reach 57, reflecting the growing interest of tourists and business passengers in this destination.
