Georgian airline OneClick Airways has commenced regular international flights from Tbilisi Airport. The new route connects the capitals of Georgia and Israel – Tbilisi and Tel Aviv.

According to TAV Georgia, the company managing Tbilisi and Batumi international airports, flights between the two cities will operate twice a week. Planes from Tel Aviv to Tbilisi will depart on Thursdays and Sundays, while return flights from the Georgian capital to Israel are scheduled for Mondays and Fridays.

The first OneClick Airways flight has already transported passengers from Tel Aviv to Tbilisi on a Boeing 737. A celebratory event was organized at the airport to mark the launch of the new air service.
