After several months of declining activity, the automotive market is showing signs of recovery. From late May to the present, approximately 13.5 thousand vehicles have been registered in the country, and the total vehicle fleet has exceeded 2.069 million units.
The dynamics of recent months indicate a gradual improvement in the situation. While the number of registrations significantly decreased at the beginning of the year, a phased recovery in demand and import activity subsequently began.
Average daily figures confirm this trend: in February, about 350 vehicles were registered per day, in March – around 500, in April – about 460, in May – approximately 420, and in June, the figure rose to 520 cars per day.
A similar picture is observed in monthly statistics. After falling to approximately 9 thousand registrations in February, the market gradually recovered: 12.6 thousand in March, 12 thousand in April, 11 thousand in May, and 13.5 thousand in June.
Experts note that some of the registered vehicles may subsequently be re-exported, but the registration itself reflects the actual presence of transport in the country for at least the duration of transit plates. This allows for an assessment of real market activity.
Additionally, it is reported that over 1.71 million driver's licenses have already been issued in the country, confirming the stable role of personal vehicles in the economy and daily life.
