The volume of aviation component exports from Georgia for January–May 2026 decreased to $3.2 million, which is almost half the figure for the same period in 2025 ($6.36 million). Thus, the decline was about 50%, according to data from the national statistical service.
The main destination for supplies remains the United States, which accounts for almost the entire volume of exports — about $3.1 million. Significantly smaller shares fall to Turkmenistan and Turkey, where volumes are measured in tens of thousands of dollars. Overall, the decline affected key product categories that previously provided a stable export flow.
The country has a production facility for composite aviation parts, manufacturing elements for civil aircraft, including doors, panels, and aerodynamic components. Despite the industrial base, the current dynamics indicate a reduction in external demand or a change in contract load in the aviation engineering segment.
