FlyOne airline has launched direct flights between Chisinau and Batumi. The start of the flight program was announced by TAV Georgia, which manages the airports of Tbilisi and Batumi.
The first flight has already arrived at Batumi International Airport. There were 182 passengers on board the Airbus A320 aircraft. 161 people departed in the opposite direction to Chisinau, which, according to the operator, indicates high demand for the route.
During the summer season, flights will operate three times a week on the Chisinau – Batumi – Chisinau route. Initially, flights are scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays, and from July 14, an additional flight on Wednesdays will be added to the schedule.
FlyOne is developing a network of scheduled and charter flights across Europe and the Middle East. A subsidiary, FlyOne Armenia, also operates in Batumi, with flights from Yerevan three times a week. The group's fleet includes more than 10 Airbus A320 and A321 family aircraft, allowing for high-frequency regional routes during the summer.
