The construction of the first tower on the territory of Ambassadori Island Batumi has entered a new phase – the project is moving towards the active phase of above-ground works. The complex is considered one of the key objects of the new coastal development in the region.
Ambassadori Island Batumi is a large-scale investment development project in Georgia, involving the construction of the first artificial archipelago in the history of the Black Sea. It includes one central island and two peninsulas, created to bring Batumi's tourism and residential sectors to a premium level.
The future multifunctional complex will combine residential apartments, hotel infrastructure, a helipad, entertainment and wellness areas, swimming pools, fitness centers, and retail spaces with branded boutiques. The interior part of the project was developed by the Italian studio D73.
Special attention is paid to the engineering part of the construction: reinforced technical solutions are used for the high-rise building on the artificially created territory. The depth of the pile foundation reaches 65 meters, which should ensure the stability of the structure in complex geological conditions.
At the current stage, work is underway at the +6 meter mark: the concreting of the parking zone columns and elevator shaft walls has been completed, and the installation of formwork and reinforcement of the structures of the next levels continues. Simultaneously, the preparation of the foundation part is underway.
According to the project data, the first 35 piles have already been installed after engineering tests and trial works. The total development area is about 48 hectares, and part of the infrastructure has already been put into operation, which allows accelerating the transition to the main construction phase.
