Georgia maintains a low level of digital activity among businesses on social media. According to Geostat data, in 2025, only 25.8% of enterprises used at least one social channel – Facebook*, Instagram**, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and others. Meanwhile, 74.2% of companies have no presence on social media at all.
Despite this, the basic digital infrastructure in the business sector is significantly better developed. Almost 94.9% of enterprises have internet access, and 74.7% use fixed connections, including fiber-optic and DSL networks. This indicates that technical access to the network is almost universal, but the level of digital marketing and online communications remains low.
Additionally, statistics show limited adoption of digital tools within companies. Only 35.5% of employees use corporate laptops or smartphones with internet access for work tasks, and only 15.3% of enterprises have their own websites. Overall, Georgia's business sector remains in a transitional stage from basic digitalization to active use of online channels.
