In Georgia, from January to April 2026, passenger car imports decreased to 57,606 units worth $925.9 million. A year earlier, during the same period, 68,020 cars worth $1.2 billion were imported, indicating a significant decline in market activity.
At the same time, the structure of main suppliers remained stable: the USA, Germany, and Japan lead. Simultaneously, deliveries from the United Kingdom and China increased, strengthening their positions in the import structure.
The average cost per car decreased by 9.1% to approximately $16,073, compared to $17,687 a year earlier. Despite the decline in volumes, the market maintains a diversified supply structure, with mass purchases from the USA and more expensive imports from Europe and Japan still forming the key share.
