Pegasus cancels flights from Kutaisi: low-cost carrier adjusts schedule due to fuel

The airline temporarily removes the route but maintains flights to other cities in Georgia

Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has again canceled flights from Kutaisi Airport for June. This was reported by a representative of GASA, the official agent of the carrier in Georgia. The decision is related to operational changes amid rising aviation fuel costs.

According to GASA, the cancellation applies exclusively to the Kutaisi route. However, Pegasus continues to operate flights to Georgia via Tbilisi and Batumi airports, maintaining its presence on key routes.

The resumption of flights from Kutaisi is planned for July, but the final schedule may depend on market conditions and fuel costs. The airline had previously canceled flights on this route in May for a similar reason, indicating the temporary instability of the route.
