Air travel between South Korea and Georgia could resume in the coming months. According to local media, Korean Air has applied to operate charter flights during the summer season, which could be the first step towards a full restoration of routes.
In parallel, the Georgian side held negotiations not only with Korean Air but also with T'way Air. The discussions focused on the possibility of launching regular flights, assessing demand, and prospects for expanding air travel between the countries.
Interest in the destination is growing amid an increase in tourist flow from Korea. Authorities expect that the launch of new flights will boost the tourism industry and simplify business ties, making Georgia more accessible to Asian travelers.
