Norwegian Air Sweden to Open Direct Route Between Copenhagen and Tbilisi

Initially, flights will be operated twice a week

From June 2026, Tbilisi will be directly connected to Copenhagen: a new route will be launched by the subsidiary of the Scandinavian low-cost airline Norwegian — Norwegian Air Sweden.

Initially, flights will be operated twice a week — on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from August 15, the frequency will change to Wednesdays and Sundays. The airline received permission to operate the route on March 23 from the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.

The opening of the route will strengthen Georgia's ties with the Scandinavian countries and attract tourists from Northern Europe. Copenhagen Airport, as a major transit hub, will give Georgian passengers convenient opportunities for traveling around Europe and to the USA.
