Gasoline Prices Rise Again: Georgia Updates Gas Station Prices

Over the past week, diesel has risen by about 40 tetri, and gasoline by 15 tetri

Fuel prices in Georgia are on the rise again amid tensions in global markets. The increase is due to geopolitical risks, problems with oil supplies, and rising logistics costs. As a result, the price of Brent crude oil rose to $112.2 per barrel, and WTI to $98.23, which immediately affected retail prices.

Over the past week, diesel has risen by about 40 tetri, and gasoline by 15 tetri. At Gulf gas stations, Super gasoline now costs about 3.73 GEL, Premium 3.33 GEL, and diesel up to 3.57 GEL. At Wissol, prices reach 3.76 GEL for Super and up to 3.68 GEL for diesel, while at Socar, Premium sells for about 3.30 GEL, and diesel up to 3.50 GEL.

The increase has also affected other networks: at Rompetrol, diesel has risen to 3.52 GEL, and at Portal, Euro diesel has risen to 3.59 GEL. Overall, the increase varies from a few tetri to 40 tetri depending on the type of fuel and operator, and the market remains under pressure from external factors, which does not exclude new price spikes.
