A new plastic waste recycling plant may appear in Georgia. This was announced by the head of Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia, Temur Chkonia. According to him, the construction of the enterprise may begin in just 2–3 months after receiving permission from the state.
The future plant is planned to be used for processing various types of plastic waste. This includes not only plastic bottles, but also other types of packaging, including containers for household chemicals.
It is expected that the implementation of the project will help improve the waste management system in the country and will become a step towards the development of plastic recycling and environmental initiatives.
