Authorities are betting on fintech and digital assets to connect the markets of Europe and Asia

The interest of large international fintech companies in Georgia confirms the country's growing attractiveness for investment. This was stated by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a meeting with the co-founder and CEO of the Bybit platform, Ben Zhou. According to the head of government, the attention from such companies shows that the chosen economic policy is yielding results.

Kobakhidze noted that the country is actively creating an environment for the development of financial innovations and services related to digital assets. The authorities believe that these areas could become one of the drivers of economic growth and attract additional international investment.

The government also intends to actively support the development of information technology, telecommunications and financial services. Tbilisi hopes that cooperation with major market players will help turn the country into an important digital bridge between Europe and Asia.
