Azerbaijan invested more than $3.1 billion in Georgia's economy

In 2025, Turkey became the country's main trading partner

The volume of Azerbaijan's investment in Georgia's economy exceeded $3.1 billion. This was stated by Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili at the 7th Azerbaijan–Georgia–Turkey business forum, which is being held in Kakheti.

According to her, Georgia is strengthening its position as a key platform for the region's trading partners and investors. In 2025, Turkey became the country's main trading partner, while Azerbaijan entered the ranks of the largest economic partners, taking seventh place.

The minister emphasized the strategic nature of Azerbaijani-Georgian relations. Energy, logistics, and trade cooperation between the two countries has a noticeable impact on the development of the entire South Caucasus and the formation of sustainable regional ties.
