In 2025, 20,802 enterprises with foreign capital were registered in Georgia, and almost a third of them — 7,643 companies — were opened by Russian citizens.
Entrepreneurs from India came in second place (1,960 companies), while Belarusians took third place with 1,915 businesses.
The top ten also included citizens of Turkey, Pakistan, Israel, Azerbaijan, Germany, and China.
Overall, the country has more than 1.1 million commercial enterprises, of which 71.7 thousand appeared last year, mainly sole proprietorship entities. The growth in the number of foreign businesspeople reflects Georgia's attractiveness for investment and the openness of its market.
