In 2025, Russia ranked third among Georgia's main trading partners. The total volume of foreign trade operations with the Russian Federation reached $2.7 billion, an increase of 6.3% compared to the previous year. The Russian share in Georgia's foreign trade amounted to 10.3%.
Supplies from Georgia reached $750 million, with an increase of 10.3%, while Russian export supplies to the country amounted to almost $2 billion, an increase of 4.9%. Turkey remains the leader in Georgian trade with $3.1 billion, followed by the United States with $2.8 billion.
The total volume of Georgia's foreign trade in 2025 reached $25.8 billion, an increase of 10.1%. Exports increased to $7.2 billion (+11.2%), imports amounted to $18.5 billion (+9.7%), which led to a trade balance deficit of $11.2 billion.
